Might imagine writing as a two-stage process.
In the first stage you [[Develop the conceptual edifice]] by reading, writing, thinking, etc.
In the second stage, you generate language that describes the current state of the conceptual edifice in a way that's appropriate for the context of use. Here I have in mind that you'll be generating langauge with your mind rather than with [[Generative AI]], but the latter is increasingly an option as well.
The key here is that while you're in the "development" stage, you actually *trust* the language generator to do its job when the time comes. If you don't trust, then you'll get clingily attached to the language that appears as byproduct of the edifice development process — and this will strangle development.
